The purpose of this item is to allow the public an opportunity to address the Town Council on issues that are not the subject of a public hearing.
Consider approval of the award of Bid No. 45-11-B, Temporary Senior Center to DMG Commercial Construction Services, Inc., in the amount of $495,993.50; and authorization for the Mayor to execute same on behalf of the Town.
Consider approval of Amendment No. 2 for the Shirley Voirin Social Senior Center project, amending the Professional Services Agreement with Halff Associates, Inc., for an increase of $35,780.00 to the not-to-exceed amount; and authorization for the Mayor to execute same on behalf of the Town.
Consider a request for a Development Plan (DP 03-10 – The Preserve at Flower Mound) to develop a residential subdivision. The property is generally located along the northwest quadrant of the Chaparral Lane and Long Prairie Road intersection. (The Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval by a vote of 6 to 0 at its February 28, 2011, meeting).
Consider approval of a resolution of the Town Council of the Town of Flower Mound, Texas, approving a request by Wellington of Flower Mound Residential Association, Inc., to construct a nine-hole disc golf course for the exclusive use of its residents on certain property owned by the association designated as “private amenity area;” and authorization for the Mayor to execute same on behalf of the Town.
Consider approval of a resolution in support of HB 2125, of the 82nd Texas Legislature, relating to gas well inspections by the Railroad Commission of Texas; and authorization for the Mayor to execute same on behalf of the Town.
Consider approval of a resolution opposing House Bill 3105, of the 82nd Texas Legislature, relating to the applicability of the Private Real Property Rights Preservation Act to certain governmental actions; and authorization for the Mayor to execute same on behalf of the Town.
